THE LLCG BOARD
WHAT DO WE DO? Are you thinking you might want to apply to join our board of trustees....BUT?
- You think you haven't got the skills we need?
- You haven't got the experience to contribute?
- You imagine a board made up of people unlike you? If so.....

PLEASE THINK AGAIN, because our board of trustees compromises of people exactly like you. Although, we particularly welcome people with a background in finance, business or management, we need volunteers of all ages and all experiences.
​
Applicants to the Board should be HONEST, ENTHUSIASTIC and COMMITED to:

Helping us steer the organisation

Making sure we act diligently and properly
-
Ensuring we spend our funds wisely and openly​​​

Contributing to the creation and maintenance of policies that help LLCG meet its goals and treat people fairly, and
-
Looking to the future, to consider how we can contribute to drive the organisation forward through periods of uncertainty and opportunity.
The board is ably supported by our 2 excellent managers who oversee the day-to-day running of the organisation and have a deep understanding of the detail of running LLCG.

WE MEET every 2 months for about 90 minutes to:
-
Review how we are doing in providing support,
-
Reconcile our actual and forecast spend with our budget, and
-
Consider how we can improve our services within the resources available.
