Volunteer Board Members wanted! - Sep 2025

We are looking for volunteers to join our Board and play an active part in taking our services into the future.  No specific experience is required - just an interest in providing support to older people and their carers in the local community.

If you can commit to 2 - 4 hours a month and are interested in getting involved  please contact Fiona Kennedy by email (fionak@laterlifechoicesglenrothes.org) or by telephoning the Scott Road office on 01592 756316.

Day Service Volunteers wanted! - Sep 2025

Do you have a few hours to spare each week?  We are looking for enthusiastic, caring volunteers to join our friendly team and help support older people at our day sessions to make a real difference to their lives!

Some understanding of the support needs of older people is desirable, however full training is provided.

Day Service volunteers usually volunteer once a week from 10.30am to 2.15pm at one of our sessions held Monday to Thursday at Napier House.

Please contact Fiona Kennedy by email (info@laterlifechoicesglenrothes.org) or by telephoning the Scott Road office on 01592 756316.

Want to help us to help older people by making a donation?

We are pleased to offer an online donation facility via our website.  The Donate Button found on the top left of every page on our website is hosted by Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).  It allows you to make a donation quickly and easily through a secure platform using your debit or credit card, or PayPal.  You can choose to make a regular or a one-off donation and to Gift Aid it if you can.

All donations we receive are much appreciated and go towards helping us enhance our services.

5 Year Strategic Plan - 2022 to 2027

We are delighted to present our 5 Year Strategic Plan (Apr 2022 - Apr 2027) (click to view). The plan was produced with the help of Freshsight, a non-profit consultancy run by Edinburgh students who help transform third sector companies into more effective organisations.  We are indebted to them for their assistance and insights, and to our former Board Member, Allan Deeson, for his collaboration with them in producing the plan.

The Strategic Plan's overall objective is to establish an organisation that not only copes with increasing client demand, but establishes a programme to support carers, and continually explores better and more cost-effective ways of delivering our services.  The plan will be subject to continuous review based on targets which have been set against its planned activities.

We have an external defibrillator at Scott Road for community use!

We have an external defibrillator available at 100 Scott Road. We would like to thank Scotmid and Fife Charities Trust for their contributions towards helping us purchase this vital piece of life saving equipment for the community.
